Buying At Yard Sales

It's yard sale season and it's time to go looking for the seasons best bargains

But where do you start?

First you need to know here the sales are.

Check the local papers classified section.

Also check the grocery stores or watch for signs on posts.

Another place to look is the internet. Many sales are posted online as so many people now have computers.

Plan a route before your start., and always go early to the most interesting sales.

Always carry cash. Most yard sale sellers don't like checks.

Divide your cash into separate places, and carry small only bills or change. If a seller sees wads of cash the prices won't come down so quick.

Always offer a lower price to the sellers

Yard sales prices are only starting points and most sellers expect to haggle a bit. It's really just part of the game.

Getting a real bargine is the thrill of the hunt, but always check items carefully.

And finally make your day a good one by wearing comfortable clothing and shoes.
